Bet on It

By Dalton Del Don – Senior Writer

Last week I went 6-7-1 to bring my overall season record to 32-38-6. My boy Chris Liss is an outrageous 21-6 ATS over the last two weeks, putting me to absolute shame to the point I no longer go outdoors. I need a strong bounce back week, but this slate of games doesn’t exactly have me confident. Nevertheless, here are the Week 6 winners:

Bengals -3 at Chiefs

Texans +6.5 at Jaguars

Dolphins +4.5 at Browns

Vikings +5.5 at Bears

Eagles -3 at Jets

Rams +9.5 at Ravens

Titans +3 at Buccaneers

Redskins +3 at Packers

Panthers +4 at Cardinals

Patriots -6 at Cowboys

Raiders +10 at Chargers

Saints +6.5 at Seahawks

Giants -3.5 at Falcons

Best Bet: Titans

Comments: The Tennessee pick as my best bet is one of those spreads that jumps out at you for being too obvious, but I just can’t help myself. Jeff Fisher is 4-0 against the Bucs and 13-1 versus the NFC South during his career and is coaching a team that has won five straight road games. Back the Titans.

I’ve given up on picking against the spread. That said, I do like the Pats and LOVE TCU against a suddenly overrated Stanford team.

    KRITTER’S STRAIGHT PICKS
    SEASON RECORD: 53-23

    Titans over Buccaneers
    Vikings over Bears
    Jaguars over Texans
    Browns over Dolphins
    Ravens over Rams
    Packers over Redskins
    Bengals over Chiefs
    Jets over Eagles
    Cardinals over Panthers
Raiders over Chargers (I know, but its my team)
Patriots over Cowboys (My friend Elissa is gonna hate me)
    Seahawks over Saints
    Giants over Falcons

By the way, I love how screwed the BCS is right now with all these teams losing, maybe the NCAA and the University Presidents will get a clue, yeah I don’t believe that either…
