Lincecum of Course.

lincecum…and i think he only gets better.

Lincecum. Still not convinced Hamels stays injury free this year.

Timmah! Reh-lah-blah! He needs a friend and rival on the team named Jimmah too, though.

I’ll take Timmy over almost any other pitcher.

Can we add a few more polls? I’m thinking of:
1. Can Josh Hamilton fly?
2. Was Chase Utley born to a virgin mother in a Bethlehem stable?

here is a big one, fror my keeper league, do i trade pat burrell, joe mauer, greg smith for brian mccann, a.j. burnett, jose guillen ——-randy

Is it tru that carlos gonzalez will continue to gorilla glirt to a solid rookie season?
What will his #’s look like at season’s end—-Pravin -
I’d go Lincecum too but surprised this was a landslide. Hamels is pretty sick in his own right.

Dreamweapon – 1) Yes and 2) yes.

Randy – That is a big one – are all contracts equal? If so, then I’d probably do that deal. McCann has established himself as pretty significantly ahead of Mauer at this point, and while you’re assuming more risk in the Burnett for Burrell swap, it’s fairly equal face value. Burrell should regress some this year, whereas Burnett should only improve. Greg Smith will be solid, but I don’t think he’s going to be worth not doing this deal for.

Pravin – Love Gonzalez’s long-term potential but not sure he’s ready to be a big time fantasy help right now. Power will develop later, and he’s not much of a basestealer. He’s worth stashing in deeper leagues on the rare chance he cashes in on upside immediately and explodes out of the gate, but I wouldn’t count on it. He might get sent right back down once Big Hurt returns.

Lince is the man…though I still think it’s a miracle he’s got 7 wins (and a ~1.5 ERA in his 4 no-decisions…he could have 11 wins!)
If CarGonz doesn’t prove himself to be a liability (and so far in his limited sample size he’s looked anything but lost), then I think he’s up for the duration, as the A’s will never lack for players on the DL, and they don’t exactly have to get Emil Brown in the lineup all the time. That being said, I doubt he’s much of an asset this year, though the A’s as a team are running more.
Just dealt Berkman, Crawford, Kazmir and McGowan for Hanley and Teixeira. We keep 10 players, and I had a bunch of youngins I was looking to make room for (McClouth, Bruce, Kershaw, Cuteo). Not too bad a gamble, eh? I got to hold on to Felix and Lince, which were my goals. Now we’ll see which of Kazmir or Harden can hold up over the rest of the season (and how many other players the A’s will have to put on the DL to balance Harden staying healthy!).

Keith – Good point about the A’s and injuries. Might as well let CarGonz learn in the bigs if he can handle it.
Hopefully, Hanley starts running again – he doesn’t have a steal in like a month. But in leagues that have limited keeper spots, it’s always good to do 2-for-1s, etc, to consolidate.
