overall, for the rest of the year, i’ll still take cano. i know what uggla has done already but i think cano will have better numbers from this point on to the end of the season.

I think both of these guys are massively overrated and still have huge holes in their game that will continue to frustrate owners for years to come. For this year, believing that the better part of Uggla’s production has already gone into the bank for his current owner, whereas Cano’s best is yet to come, I’ll take Robinson Crusoe. Cano. Whatever.

Every year Uggla hits a ton of HRs, and every year everyone doubts him.
He just gets no respect.

I’d take Cano, but Rich does a have point – Uggla’s current 16 homers are just three shy of Cano’s career-high of 19. All those strikeouts just really make him a BA liability.
