Looks like I’m going to start writing for the New York Times. This can’t last long.

You’ll make it for at least as long as Thomas Frank was able to stay on the Journal’s payroll….

Congratulations DDD! And seriously, why can’t it last long? You write about sports oh so well. I’ve always seen it; I think the Times will see it too along with thousands of new readers. Good job buddy.
I play in a local 12- team AL-only league with a bunch of Angels fans in the Huntington Beach area. I go into 2011 with both Carlos Santana and Matt Wieters as keepers at a combined $7 in salary. I’m feeling pretty good about that one. I’ll tell you more about that team at some other time. You know I always value your feedback.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! Winning!

Poincare – Thanks dude. That means a lot.
Can’t beat that combo at catcher at that price.

Dom Brown, broken hand? Crud.

Ya he’s not having the best spring so far.

Fine work on the big stage. I’d never join an AL-only league, because they don’t play baseball in the AL — think of all the Randy Johnson at bats we were cheated out of when he was with the Mariners. Anyway, it seemed like cogent advice.

Thanks Willie McGee. I’m kind of an NL guy myself too.
