V Jax behind Sidney Rice? What do your tea leaves portend? I know Jackson can’t start until Week 4 at the earliest, but his prognosis still seems superior to Rice’s.

Terrell Owens will use these rankings as motivation.

If Schaub is a top QB, how can only 1 receiver make the top list? Are Walter and Jones sharing too much for either one to make the list?

Ah, V-Jax is actually suspended for six weeks — three by the league, three by his team. Ne’ermind!

The two suspensions can be served concurrently and thus are two in name only, not in effect.

Stevie – I’m far more worried about V Jax holding out the entire season than I am his suspension. It’s probably more than a 50/50 proposition right now. Sure, maybe he gets traded (Seattle?), but the holdout issue is a real concern.

Jim Lahey – I’m curious, name the one most obvious WR I list ahead of T.O. that you think he’ll easily outperform…Or name two or three if you are so inclined.

Matt Schaub – I could have easily added Walter and/or J. Jones to that last tier. But Owen Daniels could easily eclipse 1,000 yards himself. And Walter and J. Jones were both useless fantasy players last season when Schaub threw for the fifth most passing yards in a season in NFL history. So I don’t really see why that has to change. Tony Romo only had one viable WR last year, and Miles Austin didn’t even emerge until Week 5.

    Harvin, Maclin, Wallace, possibly Knox.

    Hey Dalton,
What impact did Revis’ holdout have on the rankings? Do you think he’ll play? Part of me wants to drop Moss and Marshall a bit if they have to face him 2x each this year. He absolutely shut down Moss last year.

Ryan – I didn’t let it affect my rankings much at all. But it’s still a good point. The whole situation is just so tough to predict. I really have no clue how it’s going to play out. 50/50? I’d say V. Jackson is more likely to sit out the whole season though.
