DeAngelo Williams ahead of Steven Jackson? I have a hard time seeing DeAngelo as a 1st round pick, which he seems to be in many mocks. I think we’ve already seen his best year, and he’s in basically a 50/50 split with Stewart. With the Rams offense not looking totally inept, and Jackson a true every-down back and looking healthy, doesn’t he make more sense as a late-1st round pick? If Shonn Greene could spell and didn’t have hands made of stone, he’d be much more interesting to me…but I do like him in the 2nd round still.

Keith – Basically, I’m not going to end up with SJax on any of my teams, b/c I’m not willing to pick him where he’s typically taken. In fact, gun to head, I might even gamble on Charles over him.

There’s no doubt he’s one of the true feature backs, and maybe I’ll end up looking foolish b/c Bradford improves that offense so much, but he’s still a rookie QB with horrible WR options and a suspect offensive line. The schedule is very good though.

Jackson has played 16 games in just one of his six seasons during his career and has been worked extremely hard. Maybe Carolina becomes a true 50/50 timeshare this year, but look closer at Stewart’s #s last season – he compiled basically 75% of his production during the four games Williams missed at the end of the year. Of course, Stewart is really good and takes away GL carries, and I actually don’t feel comfortable taking Williams in the first round either. I’d take R. Moss over both.
