    Rodgers is going to unleash such a rain of ruin on the league this season. But for the fact the Packers have such a great defense, I would say he could mount an assault on 5,000.

  2. The Jewru says:

    Why no love for Henne? Palmer is toast by all accounts.

    @DW- 5K indeed

  4. RotoScoop says:

    Agreed on Rodgers. Imagine if he had the benefit of playing in a dome. I’m so happy the 49ers passed on the local kid (he’s from Chico, where I graduated college).

    Jewru – I could see bumping Henne up four spots, ahead of Palmer, but he’s still mostly an unknown who has to face the Jets, Bills and Pats six times. The addition of Marshall is obviously huge tho. I do like Henne.

    And as for Palmer, he appears toast, but what if the team is unable to rely so heavily on the ground game this season (last year it all fell perfectly), and he does have Ocho, Owens and Gresham at his disposal – a huge upgrade from last season.

  6. Keith says:

    Yeah, I’m trying my best to support Alex Smith, but watching Rodgers and his crazy success is a painful reminder. Oh, if only they’d been able to trade down and take him…oh well. Maybe in a couple years Nate Davis will have his shit together and be decent.

  7. RotoScoop says:

    I absolutely expect the 49ers to win the division this year with Alex Smith starting at QB, but essentially, it’s Oden over Durant, right?
