I hope they can avoid being swept today.
Thornton has just nine shots on goal this series and is minus-3 on the ice through three games.
Pavelski had 17 s.o.g. through the first three games versus Detroit, just 11 thus far vs the ‘Hawks. Ideally, you’d want him getting more looks than Heatley or Setoguchi. Pavelski has been the $ maker this postseason.
Sadly, there was a rumor that the management was contemplating blowing up the roster after last season, but decided to go for one more run with this group. I hope there’s no fire with that smoke. It’d be a shame to break this group after getting to the WCF.
Ya, it was a shame. It was all about the difference in goaltenders this series. No doubt about it.
