Ya it's just so hard predicting how new parks will play out.

Also, Cleveland finished with same record as KC last season, and that was with Cliff Lee and VMart for half of a season (although Sizemore can be expected to improve in 2010).

Have a gut feeling Cleveland does better than people expect, but that'd mean that questionable pitching staff gets some unexpected performances out of Carmona and Carrasco. Not worried about the bats, which is why I think they could/might surprise -- however surprise means 4th place instead of 5th, maybe 3rd. Have no delusions that they'll be better than that.

Also feel Shapiro is trying to pull a Beane with the signing of Branyan (and others) -- figure he'll try to parlay him for prospects mid-season. Only explanation for adding a guy that only blocks the likes of LaPorta, Brantley and Marte. If you're rebuilding, let the kids play.

BTW another great assessment. I think the Twins run away with this division if health is on their side and if they do indeed go get someone like Bell. Although, even if they stick Rauch in there, I think they'll be fine as long as all those mentioned in your write-up remain healthy. Should be fun to watch, especially with the added fun of their brand new ballpark.
