No, for Ronnie. I wouldn't do it if I were you, but if you're worried about carries and see Sproles as having upside, hey, why not throw it out there? [g] Even I wouldn't touch Portis at this point, that old mule has been rode hard and put away wet too many times, he's gotta be on his last legs.

If Sproles would be considered a great return, I'll offer you that right now. [g]

But if you can get a great return in a trade right now, it wouldn't be the worst time to deal Brown after he blew up on a prime time game.

With so many question marks at RB, sure, I'd consider Brown a viable RB2. It's just that with his inconsistent touches, he won't be the surest weekly option around. Still, just look at how good he was last night - dude is really talented. Hopefully Ricky goes down.

What angered me the most as a football fan (I am not a Dolphins fan, although I do love their cheerleaders) wasn't the Dolphins endgame clock management--which I agree was absolutely atrocious--but their decision on their previous drive to not even try to get another first down and settle for the field goal. I still remember clearly that it was 3rd and 6 from the Indianapolis 30 yd. line when the Dolphins ran an ultra-conservative up the middle plunge play designed to get a couple of yards at most and keep the ball between the hashmarks. Their chances of getting a first down on that play was absolutely zero. That play call basically screamed "we aren't going to go for another touchdown here; we're content with a field goal and will take our chances shutting down Peyton Manning and company for the rest of the game." Can you say "playing not to lose." Against another team I'd be OK with that play call, but against the Colts they were basically setting themselves up for failure. Seriously, was anybody surprised when the Colts drove down for the go-ahead touchdown on their very next drive? I honestly think the Dolphins lost the game right there with that decision.
