After a dreadful 5-11 Week 2, I’m left with an unsightly 13-19 through two weeks. My best bet somehow won, making me 1-1 there so far. Since I started picking every game two years ago, I swear, I’ve had an awful week early on each season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll bounce back this time like I have been able to before. But I’m sure as hell going to try.

Comments: I recognize the Bears are a sucker bet this week, but I just can’t help myself…You know you’re going ugly when a team that is 1-25 over its past 26 games is your best bet, but I refuse to view Washington as nearly touchdown favorites on the road.
Peyton Manning has to be the best player in the league. I truly believe that if he went down, they might not win a game this season. The Colts have really regressed and I too love the Cardinals this week.
Maybe I am biased because I don’t want my hometown Jets going into NO next week without being 3-0, but lets look at the facts. The Jets spanked this team last year in Tennessee. Sanchez at the this point seems to be as good as Favre is at this point. Rex Ryan does not seem like the type of coach to let his team letdown after an emotional game. Everyone is picking the Titans, thus I love the Jets. Chad feel free to double down with me if you like the Titans. I will gladly take the Jets-2.5 for $50.
Totally agree with you about Manning. He’s the NFL’s MVP – hands down. Every year basically. It’s unreal.
To be honest, that NYJ/TEN game was one of the hardest picks for me this week, but I went with Fisher’s squad being extra desperate. But the Jets are FOR REAL. And I love Ryan. Give him the coach of the year award right now. I certainly wouldn’t take that bet.
Ryan for Coach of the Year?! Such infidelity! Are cracks forming in the Del Don-Belichick marriage? [g]
Ha. I suppose you could just give it to Belichick every year. Now I feel guilty like I cheated.
