In a keeper league, I def. think both need to be rostered for sure. If forced to choose b/w the two, it’s tough. Bailey has done nothing but disappoint, but it’s also common for elite pitching prospects not to “get it” until everyone has written them off. And he’s supposedly developed a split-finger pitch that has led to recent success. I’ll say Bailey is the guy to own for this year – he’s been through the fire and his fastball is back in the mid-90s. And it sounds like he’ll get another shot as soon as this Saturday. But Gonzalez has plenty of upside as well, although he does pitch in the tougher league.

Wow that’s quite a haul. Unless this is a really shallow league, I think I’d go with the Cain/Kemp/Pena trio. Normally I’m all for the “1″ side of 2-for-1 deals (or in this case, 3), and obviously Pujols is unreal, but still, I’d go with the three (but it’s close).

I like Reimold for sure. Def. a nice prospect. 25/20 sounds about right (maybe a bit on the optimistic range), although running is relatively new for him. But ya, I think he’s here to stay and can be a productive major leaguer.

And on a completely different level, what are your long term thoughts on Reimold?

1. I don’t like Harold Reynolds. On the MLB network he has tried to brush over the whole PED thing, “the game is now clean”, “it was a minority of players who were using”, etc.
2. Harold Reynolds is an idiot.
3. That Joe Posnanski (never heard of him before) post was way to long and rambling. I never made it to the point of the post, if there is one.
