Dalton, my first ever keeper/dynasty league started today. It is offline and we make our picks via e-mail. I have no idea what to expect and I have pick No. 8 in a 12-teamer.
I would love to hear any suggestions you have, or links to some of your older articles about dynasty leagues. And once again the Knicks are cursed. Never bad enough to get a great pick in the draft. Add Jordan Hill to a list that includes underwhelming power forwards Channing Frye and Mike Sweetney. But the list runs deeper. They haven’t drafted an All-Star since 1986. Pathetic.
All I can hope for is that Donnie Walsh takes advantage of that clueless Minnesota GM and gets Rubio. -
Matt – This is a hoops league? I was just out the door, and feel free to update me on how it’s going and hopefully I’ll be able to provide better feedback that way. Just off the top of my head, I’d think something like this (assuming FT% is a cat, if not move D. Howard into this group):
1)LeBron
2)Wade
3)Paul
4)Amare
5)Kobe
6)Durant
7)Granger
8)Dirk -
And B/c it’s a dynasty format, it wouldn’t be crazy to take Durant over someone like Kobe.

Man I’m sorry it’s a football league.
For some reason I bounced back to my NBA Draft thoughts. Thanks again, DDD. As always.

Ha ha well that changes things bit. I think I’m going to be in an NBA mock draft over at the Roto Arcade next week, so I needed to think about some hoops stuff anyway.
Here are my top-8 dynasty rankings for football:
1)Peterson
2)MJD
3)Forte
4)Slaton
5)Chris Johnson
6)Calvin Johnson
7)M. Turner
8)S. JacksonI’d hope one of the top-6 falls though.

Cool.
Looks like one of Slaton or Calvin will fall to me at No. 8, so according to your board I’ll do all right. I’m surprised no Andre Johnson for you, but I guess there are health issues…? -
Andre Johnson and Fitzgerald are close and would enter the mix soon thereafter. Good second round targets.
