It certainly doesn't look great compared to Russell Martin ($22). But that's easy to say after the fact (Martin went first), and Doumit was $18. I actually think it's more important to get rock solid catchers in this format than say our RW2 staff league. Think about it - there are 26 C slots in this league. There are just 16 starting catchers in the NL. But ya, that was an overspend, no doubt. I hope Freddy Sanchez can help me out in the BA department.
