By Dalton Del Don
Last week I went 11-5, bringing my season total to 93-78-5. New England improved my best bet record to 8-2-2 with a resounding victory as well. This week I’m taking all five road favorites and just three puppies altogether during a 16-game slate, so it’s safe to say I’m not feeling all that confident, unlike last week. I was close to making the Giants my best bet but went with Indy instead. I just can’t see Cleveland putting up many points with their quarterback play against such a tough secondary. Plus, the Colts’ offense is rolling. Back Indianapolis.
Titans +11 at Lions
Seahawks +12.5 at Cowboys
Cardinals +3 at Eagles
49ers +7 at Bills
Ravens -7.5 at Bengals
Colts (best bet) -5 at Browns
Panthers +3 at Packers
Dolphins -8 at Rams
Saints +3.5 at Buccaneers
Giants -3.5 at Redskins
Falcons +5 at Chargers
Broncos +9 at Jets
Steelers +1 at Patriots
Chiefs +3 at Raiders
Bears +3.5 at Vikings
Jaguars +3 at Texans
Vegas is getting steam rolled and I’m having trouble picking against the public once again this week. This could be a rough week for some traps. Tempted to go game by game against the public.
Giants at redskins, not cards.
Anonymous – I agree, it just feels like a big correction is due at some point. The book does not lose like this for very long typically. That’s why I hated taking so many chalk/favorites this week.
Donald – Good call. Fixed.
thanks for the turkey day three teamer, it made those god awful games a lot more fun to watch. appreciate it
Glad I could help. I liked the Philly pick but was unsure on the other two, which is the same thing for a lot of games today.
I have very much appreciated the insight with the betting this season. It has been prosperous for me.
Unfortunately, I have withdrawn all my funds from my online account. The site I had used changed its url twice, with the second one happening about 1 month ago (although I found the new site each time). A friend who used tradesports just found out that the site is no longer there (although he traced it an probably got his cash back).
Enough is enough for me, there seems to be a crackdown going on. I’m out, and I’m taking my cash with me.
Word to the wise: Always bet on the Giants to cover. They are money!
I might not forgive the Colts for that stinker. What an atrocious performance. Ugh, that made me ill.
Donald – I hear you. It’s that bastard Bill Frist who passed an offshore gambling law under a huge port bill a couple of years back. Ruined everything. Yet horse racing is perfectly legal. NFL is the most popular sport in the world very much so b/c of gambling. It’s a joke.
Keith – You’re telling me. Even after that awful performance, they would have covered had Vinatieri made that FG. Ridiculous.
Dalton, I would like to ask a fantasy basketball question.
If you want, reply to gangreen1982@yahoo.com. Thanks.
I really feel like an idiot for dropping Haslem (at the time his minutes were getting cut against Houston and another team) and so i decided to pick up Rudy….had no idea he would fall this far.
But as I reflect on the move, and witness the team behind me in 2nd place grab Haslem, that U-God did a good job boosting my field-goal percentage.
Maybe there’s a buy-low player out there that could improve this team.
Sorry in advance to the football fantatics out there…lol.
Here is my roster in 12-team H2H:
Point Guards: Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Beno Udrih
Shooting Guards: Jamal Crawford, Marquis Daniels, Rudy Fernandez
Small Forwards: Rashard Lewis, Ron Artest, Wilson Chandler
Power Forwards: Carlos Boozer, Brook Lopez
Centers: Dwight Howard, Spencer Hawes.
Any thoughts, Dalton? Thanks man.
Matt – Sorry for the delay, I’ll email you later today.
picks for this week? We’re counting on you Dalton.
Ya I’ll get that posted tonight for sure.
Matt – I finally e-mailed you.
