Last week I went 8-6, bringing my season total to 75-64-5. My best bet record improved to 7-1-2 when the Titans covered, and most importantly, I’ve moved ahead of Chris Liss in the RotoWire Staff Picks column, which infuriates him to no end. This week, I’m not all that confident – taking way too many favorites. I originally had a Bengals feel, but in the end, Philly is a fraud who can’t hang with the good teams yet cherishes beating up the doormats…I had the hardest time with the Pitt/SD game…Two lines really jump out at me (Chiefs and Titans). Kansas City may be 1-8, but they’ve hardly played like that since Tyler Thigpen took over at quarterback. It’s worrisome how decimated the team is on defense, but they are at home, and the offense is actually good. The Saints are desperate for a win, but this is a soft team that has yet to win a single game on the road this season…I really have no clue what Vegas is thinking when it comes to Tennessee this year. They are undefeated, yet barely favored over a bad Jaguars team? Huh? This line is so bizarre, it screams trap, but the same could be said last week when the Titans laid just a field goal against a Rex Grossman led team, so I’ll once again happily back Tennessee.
