Dalton – you have Moore in the top 10 this week. Should I drop Sproles, my LT handcuff in league where we counts ret.yards, to pick up Moore. I’d then have to decide between LT, Rhodes, Lewis, McFadden and Moore.

For my other league – How close a call is it between Hester and Driver, because I could drop Breaston in order to start him.

My team also has so many backs. Who would you trade from the following group – Barber, Lynch, Slaton, Buckhalter, McGahee and Fargas? I really doubt any owner will want the last two.
I was hoping Slaton 4 White…or another player if that seals it.

Matt – I really wish I knew Willie Parker’s true status to answer that. As you can see, if he’s out this week, I really like Moore, but even then, it might only be a one-week thing. B/c you have LT, dropping Sproles becomes tougher, especially since it’s a return yardage league. In that league, it might make most sense to hold tight if your only droppable options are those RBs.

Hester and Driver are really close. Really comparable. I probably wouldn’t drop Breaston for the slight (perceived) upgrade this week.

You mean Roddy White, right? If so, then ya, I like that offer since you are loaded at RB, and like you say, I doubt you’d get much for McGahee or Fargas at this point.

Same story here evey week — too many good players! I’ve got Roy Williams and Derrick Mason … and they’re not even my no. 1 WR! I was leaning towards Mason when Romo was out, but if Romo plays, what would you expect out of Williams in his first week as a Cowboi?

Walt Weiss – I wouldn’t expect much since he’s learning a new system and all, but that is a favorable matchup. Basically, I’d venture Williams has more upside, but Mason is a safer bet for at least modest production.

That’s funny, I have Roy W. and Mason in the RS Invit. league and am forced to choose b/t those slags as well. I also went Mason. Williams basically sucks donkey dick, I do not get the man-love for him at all. We’re talking about a 5th year guy who has eclipsed 850 yds in a season exactly once, who has never scored double-digit TDs, and who in fact has seen his TD totals decline annually since his rookie year. While playing in a Mike Martz offense. And this guy is a stud? I would happily deal him and a RB2 for a real wideout. The Cowboys were idiotic in making that deal, I love it. All those draft picks, the big money bonus, the shit hitting the fan when Owens has his inevitable hissy fit–I cannot wait for the meltdown. Williams is little more than the Upper Middle-Class Man’s Patrick Crayton (their career yards per are even within a half-yard), which makes the decision doubly weird considering they already had Crayton. Not that Mason is any great shakes, mind you; it’s a horrible position to be in. But Williams is quite possibly the most overrated player in football in my view.

I know I keep banging this drum, but whaaa, no love for Eddie Royal again? In my home league I have him with Housh and Bowe, and frankly look at him as my #1 option this week. At least he has a real QB, if nothing else, and NE’s secondary is a mess.

Who would you take a desperation play at the Util if stricken by injuries/bye weeks? My options are the remainder of the aforesaid three wideouts (probably Housh, I’ve seen enough of Fitzpatrick to last me a lifetime), Seneca Wallace @ TB, or Jamaal Charles v. the Titans. Horrible, no? It’s like a watching a jackknifed tractor trailer skidding along an icy highway towards a stopped schoolbus. I’m thinking Wallace.

Dreamweapon – I agree about Roy Williams…Leaving Eddie Royal off was a mistake. He belongs in the 25ish range…Also, bump up V. Jackson into tier 2 since Chambers is doubtful…I’d play Wallace. Anytime you can get a QB in there at flex, it’s usually the right move. Hopefully he doesn’t pull his calf in warm-ups.
