alright, question: so, I’ve been working on prying Marshawn Lynch off an owner’s hands who is 0-4 for over a week now.

    (it’s only a 10 team league)
My rb’s are LT, Turner, Julius Jones, Edge, Sproles
My wr’s are Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson, Bowe, Roddy W., DeSean Jackson, Colston (when back)

We’ve gone round in circles for a week now with multi-player deals. Finally he’s offered me Lynch straight up for CJ.

I think Lynch is actually underrated right now with one of the softest schedules you could ever want. I’m not sold on Turner: well, I think he’s legit but I’m not so sure on his overall team, oline, and qb. Plus he really only has 2-3 more good matchups all year. I’ve got tons of wr depth, and Colston for the end of the year wr help.

I’m actually worried about CJ. Should I be? I’m worried about Kitna long term and none of their backups look all that good. I’m really tempted to pull the trigger.

I may be selling Megatron short… but I see Lynch as a top 7-8 rb with a great schedule including playoffs. Thoughts?

I agree with your assessment. Lynch’s schedule is terrific, and while I’m very high on Calvin, Lynch is a top-8 RB, and you have plenty of WR depth. I’d do the deal.

Mewelde Moore over CJ? Isn’t LenWhale limited in practice this week? Hmmm, interesting, I have both and hadn’t really given a thought to playing Moore. I guess with no alternatives and a dinged-up Roethlisberger, the rock has to end up somewhere. Don’t know if I have the guts to make that call though, I sat CJ last week vs. the Vikes’ D in favor of, haha, Selvin Young, and don’t want to get burned again….

I could be talked into starting CJ over MeMo. I love Johnson, and if L. White is inactive, I’d make the switch, but Balt. run D is tough. Really tough. The Tenn. O-line is legit tho. Still, Moore should be plenty active in the passing game.

If Schaub flops this weekend, would you consider him to be this years Vince Young for you, D? Certainly with less hype.

Schaub threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs with no INTs last week. Don’t think Young had a game as close to good as that all season last year, so no. Don’t get me wrong, he’s disappointed, but Houston’s schedule has been ridiculously tough, and Indy isn’t a great matchup either. But with upcoming home games against MIA, DET, CINCY, and then at Minny, I’m expecting big things.

Tough call TK. I’d probably go Pitt D, but if Rodgers is for sure not playing, it does make it close.

Undecided on starting BJacobs or JStewart at RB2 this week.

Like both matchups and I feel like Jacobs will get more touches – any input?

jackjester – As you can see, I have them very close, so in cases like this, I recommend going with your own instinct. My take? Both are at home, should win, and are in somewhat of a timeshare. While I agree Jacobs probably sees more carries, it shouldn’t be by a wide margin, and Seattle has given up 3.5 YPC (and 2 rushings TDs), while KC has ceded 5.3 YPC (and six rushing TDs) – both the second most in the NFL. That’s why I’d start Stewart.

Trade advice: my backs are lynch, c. johnson, jacobs and maroney
my wr are edwards, r. moss, eddie royal
ive been offered anquan boldin, and tj duckett
for jacobs and royal plus a sixth rounder next year
How serious is boldins injury and then deal or no deal?

Anything gonna happen with the re-instatement of Chris Henry, does that affect your ratings at all, would he be a good pick up?

Splevebuge – It sounds like Boldin should be able to return next week. Certainly the one after that at the most. And it’s an injury that shouldn’t affect him much when he does return. Considering your team, I’d do that deal, but try to get him to take it w/o you giving up the 6th rounder. You are giving him more than enough for that to still be fair.

Kritter – Henry isn’t a bad pickup. I actually had stashed him all season in one league, but with Cincy’s offense not nearly what we thought it’d be, his upside has lessened. That said, their schedule will ease up, and if C. Johnson is truly hurt, he could get some extra targets. Henry def. has the physical skills to be big.

Looks like u may need to start adding Mr. Tim Hightower to ur rankings, I picked him up, hopefully I will find a spot for him, he’s part of a carousel that includes Hightower, MJD, and Ryan Grant alongside Addai. If u could help me out a bit with this decision each week, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I’ll help you out. I wish Hightower got all the carries James did.
