Last week I went 6-6-2, bringing my season total to 58-53-5. It was especially annoying because I was 5-2-2 after the morning games, and that includes a ridiculous loss in the Falcons game because of a) a blown call b) no challenges left c) 20 seconds away from an automatic booth review and d) a 39-yard TD run by Brian Westbrook, who was just trying to run out the clock. But I digress. My best bet, the Dolphins, came through, leaving me with a 5-1-2 mark on the season. This week, I feel good taking the Bills, Ravens, Texans, Cardinals, Falcons and Colts, but that often doesn’t result in better success than the ones I’m unsure on. As for the best bet, Pittsburgh has struggled against the NFC so far this season, but they still rank as one of the top-three teams in the league and will be motivated playing in the spotlight after last week’s loss.
