Ya Kasey would be fine. As long as the weather is ok and the team has a chance to win, picking b/w kickers is pretty much a crap shoot.

yes, flip a coin. Although I'd rule out Elam b/c of the matchup, and isn't Carney on a bye? If forced to choose, I guess Lindell, with Nedney my 2nd choice.

dalton, who has the best scoring opportunity as kicker this sunday: Elam, Karney, Lindell or Nedney? I'm 1-2 and can't seem to make up my mind...flip a coin?

I look at YPA like I do OPS in baseball - it's by far the most telling stat of a player's true value. Sack adjusted YPA is actually the very best. Anyway, I really doubt systems change that number to a great degree one way or the other, but it is an interesting point you bring up. Steve Young had a career 8.0 YPA in the West Coast system, but that's unfair to pick just one example, especially since he's one of the best QBs ever. I'd be interested in seeing a study, but I'd lean more toward player over system in that stat.

I hear what you're saying, and that brings up an interesting point--do guys in West Coast offensive systems tend to have lower YPA figures? I honestly have no idea, I don't have the figures here and don't really know how I could find them easily, but it just kind of seems to me at a gut level that there are a preponderance of shorter routes with that kind of philosophy. Of course, they're probably completing more passes to begin with and gaining the yards back that way when you're looking at attempt figures. Kind of curious....

Four more points today, baby--two days in a row now. I got cheap-ass wins from practically every scrub I picked up last night, including Volstad, Ryan Franklin (!), Kyle Davies (!!!!!) and some guy named Scott Lewis. I guess that lamb I sacrificed to Odin is paying off.

The Saints just spread it around so much, so ya, if Lloyd looks like he's going to play, I'd probably go with him.

I again find myself in the enviable position of having too much depth of talent. I have both Bob Meachem and Brandon Lloyd -- both top 20 WRs this week. Assuming Lloyd is healthy, should I consider starting him over Meachem? Should I just drop some of my top players to make it fair to the rest of the league?

Chad - Def. agree with your 4 sure starters. As for the last spot, that's tough. I feel like Bryant has more upside, yet Mendenhall is safer, since he's guaranteed more touches. I'd probably roll the dice with Bryant, but I'm not all that confident in the decision.

Dreamweapon - Jason Campbell has def. improved, but a 7.0 YPA isn't much to get excited about. And his last two matchups have been cake. Not saying he can't continue to improve, but I'm not all that optimistic he's truly turned the corner.

My baseball team has really struggled in the end, looks like I spoke too soon about our bet.

W/R:
Mendenhall or Antonio Bryant? Also have S. Holmes, but not expecting this to be his breakout week. Other option is Mcgahee, but i'm strongly leaning towards mendenhall.

my rb wr situation is as follows.
RB1Barber
RB2J. Stewart
WR1Cotchery
WR2Bowe

A few things:

1. Great to see Houshmandzadeh does in fact have a pulse, although the ass would of course have to do it the week I finally sat him in my points league, easily costing me the Jackson I would have pocketed for being the top weekly scorer. I finished 2.5 points behind the winner. Houshmandzadeh had 37 points last week in that format. The guy I ran, Bryant Johnson, had 3. Yes, 3. God I'm stupid. But Housh, you're an ass.

2. I'm coming around really fast on Campbell. Maybe it's just a three-game hot streak, but that would be pretty weird with it coming at the start of a season in a whole new offense. There might be something here. I think he may be slotting into the back end of that 2nd tier in a little while now.

3. Rumors of my FBL demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Sounds like he's finally healthy and over the hamstring injury. This week isn't a great matchup, but I'd play Grant over M. Bush and C. Johnson.

What is the story with Ryan Grant anyway? Is he gonna play, and if so, what do u think he can do? I have to decide between him and M. Bush because C. Johnson is playing against the Vikes, and I would rather start the Vikes D, what say u 3D?
