Carson Palmer seems a bit low to me. He did put up a horrid performance last week, but can we truly expect that to be the norm? With that receiving corp, seems like production is inevitable regardless of anything else.
He also put up decent numbers against Ten, last year…
I guess what I’m asking, is what are you seeing that I’m not, or are you just weighting the overall shoddiness of the offense this past week higher than me.
I really try not to overreact to just one Week 1, but I see Cincy’s offense struggling against teams with strong defensive lines. The Tenn D is legit. That said, Haynesworth may be out (which is huge), and this game is at home. I could see moving him to the top of that last tier, but I wouldn’t go much further than that. Chad Johnson can’t lift his hands over his head and is shy to go over the middle with this injury.
I know it is his first game back Dalton but Marshall is top 5 every week in my book. I can not envision him finishing outside of the top 5 this season even with one less game.
As far as Palmer goes, I have him in a couple of weeks, so my ownership is attempting to blind me to the trainwreck that is the Bengals but it really does look like he is doomed to QB2 status for the year. Wow what a fall.
Jewru – I have zero problem with bumping Marshall up. Also, been swamped with work today – but I know I owe you a call.
DDD,
Rosario or Fasano?
Do you start Sidney Rice over Muhsin Muhammed? Over Matt Jones?
Fasano.
S. Rice.
Which of these four would you start this week: Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Jacobs, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte? Which defense would you start: Patriots or Titans?

Sorry DDD, jumped the gun clicking the button.
Lynch and Jacobs. Titans D.
Thanks DDD. I’m with you on both.
No problem.
Do you know who’s supposed to be covering Bowe tomorrow? Is it Asomugha? Is it crazy to consider playing Royal over Bowe just because I don’t have any other guys in the afternoon games in my home league and want someone to root for for those three hours? And am I truly nuts for even sweating this? [g]
Asomugha starts on his right side of the field every down. So if KC were smart, they’d motion Bowe (like Denver did Royal) and get him to the other side as much as possible, even if that’s not his normal spot. The demand to play zone on defense drives me crazy in today’s NFL, and it certainly limits the impact of the league’s best CB. Hall is overrated.
I’d play Bowe over Royal, but fantasy sports are for fun, so I understand your reasoning.
