Jewru - I like the deal too, but I got punched in the mouth tonight watching S. Olsen come within one out of a complete game shutout! And with Ks too. And Church went yard again. Not cool at all. And Wainwright's first start happens to come in Coors this week. Ahhh.

Nate McLouth is an unstoppable force. The man is a force of nature. Out of control.

Donald - Agreed about Cueto/Scherzer. At this point, I'd easily prefer Cueto, largely b/c of the spot in the rotation safety. That Slowey/Laffey question isn't easy. I guess Slowey since he seems more likely to stick in the rotation, like Tyler Durden said. But that's a true toss up that I don't feel strongly about either way.

Wainwright is money. Rich Hill may never figure it out again. Church has the high BABIP which I am sure you are aware of. :) I like the deal.

We need more press on the breakout superstud of the year NateDog McClouth. This is what Grady Sizemore should have became.

Nice column. Agree about Dice-K. Just packaged him in a keeper and got a nice return.

Trump: both! But Laffey beats Slowey by a nose, however Slowey is more apt to stay in that rotation. Have a feeling Indians will yank Laffey back and forth a lot this year.

Obviously a huge trade for you, but you know it is when you are this giddy about a trade. Kudos.

I saw Scherzer pitch. You are right, he is nasty. That said, I am glad my cueto/schef offer was turned down. It is just too unlikely that this kid will both keep a spot and pitch great.

Random Q: Kevin Slowey or Aaron Laffey?
