I’ve been extremely busy writing the running back profiles for RotoWire’s Fantasy Football magazine, so you’ll have to excuse my lack of posts. You can thank me later when I help you win your football league, however. Anyway, I thought we’d return to some “Take Your Picks,” a previous favorite. Only this time, it’s football, that way I can see if you guys are on the same page as me or not. As always, leave your choice and thoughts on the matter in the comments section.
Marion Barber or Frank Gore?
Barber – I think Gore has too many questions surrounding him. I’d rather take him late 1st or early second.
I think that you can make a case for Barber as the 1st pick period. Look at the results he has produced with 50% of the touches. Dallas is a fantasy goldmine. Barber having 20 TD’s and 2000 total yards is attainable in my eyes. I love the talent that Gore possesses but his health issues as well as Martz’s inconsistentcy in giving his RB carries will make for an inconsistent season.
Gore’s too injury prone so I’m also going with Barber. He does have Felix Jones to contend with though.
I agree with Barber.
Barbarian. He’s in a much better position than he was last year – he rounds out the top 6 overall.
