The Ravens and Steelers were both favored in their Super Bowls, and that Pats team ended up having both the greatest QB and coach of all-time on their side.

All that said, it def. could be a close game. I’ve been wrong about the Giants for three straight weeks. They are a very good football team and deserve to be here.

I think Jacobs is still the starter, but Bradshaw has definitely earned a pretty significant role. And who knows, he’ll probably end up starting at some point next year one way or the other. He actually does remind me of Tiki.

Being a Giants fan doesn’t help my bias. They just remind me a bit of those wild card team from the past like the Ravens, Pats, Steelers etc.

I hope its a close game.

Does Ahmad Bradshaw start next season? Is he the next coming of Tiki Barber?

Even if the Giants lose, at least Eli should be off the hook for being a “bust.”

Well, New England is just 2-8 against the spread over the past 10 games, so they haven’t been blowing many teams out lately. However, the two-week layoff almost always hurts the underdog, and that Week 17 game was in New York. That game may end up hurting NY, since Belichick is so good at attacking weaknesses and now has the game film. We’ll see, and it def. might be close, but I have a bad feeling it’s going to be a rout.

Give the Giants a chance! Eli’s accuracy has been increased greatly over the last month as the running game has opened it up for him and taken the pressure off of him to throw so many passes…

The Giants O-line and D-line are underrated and it was 38-35 a few weeks ago in week 17.

I doubt they get blown out and it should be a close game.

First off, I’d keep Fitz. I doubt he’ll last till the 33rd pick in drafts next year, so that seems like good value to me. As for Maroney, he’s certainly not a guy I feel confident recommending. Remember, Sammy Morris was outplaying him for a good portion of this season. However, most of that can (hopefully) be attributed to Maroney still recovering from the offseason shoulder surgery, and Belichick sure seems to trust him fully now. Additionally, there’s little chance Brady throws another 50 TDs next year, so it stands to reason NE should score more on the ground, especially with defenses gearing up to stop a historically good passing offense from the prior season.

He’s been very good over the last five games, and there’s still big upside. It’d take a big man to forget how burnt you were by him this season, but I can def. see keeping him. I bet he typically gets selected in the 2nd round next year, but that doesn’t mean he won’t bring back first round value. He really needs to improve his blocking/receiving so he can stay on the field more, but ya, I’d probably keep him.

LoMo has me tied up in knots — we can protect up to three keepers in my money league, with each keeper taking away one potential draft pick (e.g., keep one guy, lose your first-round pick). I’m seriously thinking of retaining him, Brady and Larry Fitzgerald (the latter because I have the 9th pick in the third round of our snake draft and I doubt there will be a really good RB2 available that late, and Fitzgerald may well be gone by then if I throw him back into the draft pool). I think LoMo should be a borderline RB1 next year, assuming the Pats go with the more conservative approach on offense that we saw down the stretch and here in the playoffs. Thoughts?
