Since DDD’s picks aren’t up yet, just wanna say I have the Packers over the Cowboys tonight as part of KRITTER’S STRAIGHT PICKS!!!

I face the inevitable, “Do I start S Young or T Henry this week?” which I invited in dafting a Broncos RB. I know it all hinges on the impending league decision coming up tomorrow, but is there a scenario in which I start both against the porous OAK D? My only other option is L White b/c both Jacobs and ATrain are hurt. Lemme know what you think.

Kritter – Ya my bad not posting that here before tonight’s game…I actually had GB too (at +6.5), so at least I won’t be accused of lying about it.

Jackjester – Let’s hope the situation becomes clearer before Sunday, b/c White does have a solid matchup, making it a tough decision. I do think it’s OK to start both Denver backs, since they figure to run it a lot and Oakland’s front seven is the worst in football. If I were you, I’d probably just hope Henry gets suspended and Young gets the call (stash Andre Hall if you can, but that high ankle sprain may cost him multiple weeks).

I’ll make another post right here Saturday letting you know what I think, with a more definitive answer.

As an unfortunate expert in the denver rb situation, my official prognostication is that Travis Henry is cleared of all wrongdoing (c’mon, do you really think he would smoke?) and gets the start on Sunday. I am not sure that ‘getting the start’ will produce better stats than selvin, but I am hoping.

Hall is out. Henry looks like the likely starter. But Young is going to play and has more upside being the more explosive runner of the two.

But that’s not to say Henry won’t dominate the carries, which he very well might.
