In one of my leagues I just got offered Randy Moss for AP…I’ve already got Addai and Jacobs, with Portis and LenDale White as the backups, and my receiving crew is the motley bunch of Lee Evans (finally 1 good game!), Reggie Brown, Brandon Marshall and Roddy White (see, I own him in two leagues). Upgrading the WR core is worth the hit with the depth I have at RB, right? Maybe? I can’t help but worry about Moss, and love AP, so it hurts to think about pulling the trigger.
Chris Henry (Ten) does look good, but LenDale has been coming in strong (I told you he’d be good value later in the draft…nevermind that I was high on Lee Evans, Reggie Brown and Vince Young too).
It’s definitely a fair offer. Let’s put it this way, if a draft were held today, I’d bet those guys would go anywhere from No. 2-4, depending on the league. So it’s very equal in my eyes. All things being equal, I’d probably side with AP. However, in your specific case, it might make more sense to do the deal. And Minny’s atrocious QB situation does need to be taken into account.
You were totally right about LenDale White. Not only is he given some of the best opportunities, but he actually looked good last week as well.
