Here’s my BBall team, called the Swish Masters

    Chris Paul
    Paul Pierce
    Carlos Boozer
    Antawn Jamison
    Mike Bibby
    Monta Ellis
    Nene
    Darko Milicic
    Nick Collison
    Tim Thomas
    Cuttino Mobley

All things being equal in a 10 team pts league (old sandbox scoring) would you rather have Bynum or Foye for an 8th round pick? I ended up going with Bynum after looking through his preseason stats 10 rebs in 20 mins, but now I’m 2nd guessing. PGs are harder to find and Foye’s 6-4 can rebound and dish…

Looks good Kritter – quick, guess what’s the biggest standard deviation of any stat in basketball? It’s Steve Nash and assists. Hopefully, Belinelli doesn’t cut into Ellis’ value too much. My one gripe would be it looks like you might be hurting in the blocks department, and they are typically tough to find on the free agent wire.

  6. RotoScoop says:

I’d probably rather Foye, but Bynum has huge upside. He put together big games last year, and he’s still so young – you never know when he’ll put it all together. I actually think the center position (and blocks) are much harder to find than point guards (and assists), so you have the guy with the bigger upside/potential, but I would say Foye is the safer choice and is a candidate himself to breakout.

If you drafted a bunch of guards early and needed a big man, it’s totally fine, but all things being equal, I’d rank Foye slightly ahead of Bynum.

  7. Kritter77 says:

Yeah, I noticed that, but I think I will be good enough in the other categories to offset that, it’s a roto league with 8 categories (FG%, FT%, 3PTM, AST, STL, BLK, PTS, REB) Obviously I have some things to work on as the season progresses, but we shall see how it goes.

  8. Jeremy says:

yeah that’s the way I see Bynum vs Foye too. I found a game where he had 7 blocks last year and starting drooling, oh well. I gotta hope with Odom banged up Bynum comes through in his 3rd year…

  9. RotoScoop says:

There was a three game stretch last year where Bynum went off. Crazy potential, but hopefully Chirs Mihm becomes irrelevant.
