Last week I went 6-5-2 to put my season record at 38-43-8. I’m two games over .500 over the last three weeks, so while that’s nothing to write home about, I seem to be improving as the season moves along. That said, this is a pretty rough slate this week, and I feel like I went with a few sucker bets. Now, onto Week 7’s picks:
Cardinals +9 at Redskins
Falcons +9 at Saints
Ravens -3 at Bills
Patriots -16.5 at Dolphins
49ers +9.5 at Giants
Buccaneers +2 at Lions
Titans -1 at Texans
Chiefs +3 at Raiders
Jets +6 at Bengals
Vikings +9.5 at Cowboys
Bears +5 at Eagles
Rams +9 at Seahawks
Steelers -3.5 at Broncos
Colts -3 at Jaguars
Best Bet: Lions
Comments: Detroit is a terrible road team but solid when playing at home. They’ve had two weeks to prepare for a Bucs squad ill suited for playing on turf, and the return of Calvin Johnson and a heavier dose of Kevin Jones mean Tampa Bay will be forced to throw more than they typically like to, especially with such a stagnant running game. Back the Lions.
