w/r- this is for 3 w/r i have marshall to start right now but i am thinking of putting bowe in because marshall has a tuffer defense to go against in indy, as for bowe against sd, they are doing pretty crappy!!
what do you think i should do?

It’s very close. San Diego’s weak point on defense is definitely its secondary, and I expect the Chargers’ offense to put up plenty of points, so KC will be forced to throw a lot. But the same could be said about Denver, who will be playing catch up against Indy this week. It’s tough – go with you gut – but I still say Marshall. He’s a second year guy vs. a rookie, and with Javon Walker (knee) banged up, he might even be the No. 1 option in the passing game. He had some pretty sick moves after the catch last week.

I like Bowe big time this week, Chargers are a huge favorite, and the chiefs will probably have some success in the air against those terrible DB’s. Chiefs playing from behind against chargers secondary sounds pretty promising to me.

Why is Bulger so high? Busted ribs and a bad knee… I have to choose between he and Griese or Culpepper. Any thoughts?

Dallas’ defense has improved with each week, but that secondary is still a weak spot, and you’ve got to figure the Cowboys offense will light up the scoreboard, forcing the Rams to go very pass-heavy, especially with S. Jax out of the lineup. Bulger has protection problems, but he still has Holt, Bruce, Bennett and McMichael to throw to – he’s going to rebound at some point. He entered the year as a top-5 fantasy QB, and not THAT much has changed, has it? Especially encouraging is that the game is on turf, too.

I like Culpepper fantasywise actually, but I’d start Bulger over him this week. Griese has a good matchup, but he’s such an unknown right now. I’m very interested to see how he does.

Would you trade Romo and Boldin for Steven Jackson and Hasselback if you had Vince Young to replace Romo, and receivers like Driver, Curry, White, and Santonio Holmes to replace Boldin?

I’m thinking this is a great chance to nab Jackson.

Interesting. I’m actually pretty worried about Jackson, 1-2 weeks seems ridiculous for a torn groin. But this makes some sense in your case, b/c it sounds like you wouldn’t be losing all that much by giving up Boldin. You’d be losing depth, of course, but I expect Young to put up similar #s to Romo over the rest of the season, so that wouldn’t a huge downgrade either. I’d probably recommend not doing this deal for most, but since you have fine replacements, I’d probably do it. Can you grab Brian Leonard as well?

I am D-O-N-E with Marc Bulger, it’s my mistake for playing him, but he HAS to be devalued. The guy just doesn’t have it this season missing Orlando Pace, and with Jackson out, he’s REALLY screwed!
