triz, the bottom line with the Raiders D is this, they play WAY too much zone. Rob "the Pirate" Ryan is a zone lover, which doesn't work with the personel he has available to him. Washington and Asomugha are a great combo at CB, but they need to be allowed to cover man to man, they are fast enough. Morrison can cover over the middle too, and Huff and Schweigert can be ball hawks in the middle. There are a number of players playing new positions, Huff and Tommy Kelly chief among them. Kelly had the big FG block, so he's gonna get going. This D will gel and if the O IS indeed better, we should definately be a MUCH better team. We shall have to see.

Thanks Tyler Durden and Brett - glad to hear it.

Dreamweapon - Ya, your Skins blew a great chance at grabbing a hold of the division early on.

Keith - Totally. The top-10 would look completely different. Would my boy Marion Barber be a first round pick?

Kritter - Don't worry, Jeff gave me a strict talking to about my Raiders proclamation. I think they are finally moving in the right direction, but I'd be shocked if they reach 5-6 wins this year.

Hakim - Deuce Lutui is the man.

Robby Hater - McAllister is done for. Bush's value skyrockets. Aaron Stecker should be added in all leagues as well. But Brian Leonard should be waiver wire priority No. 1.

why was the raiders d so bad??? they gave up a kick reuturn for a touchdown (special teams) had a few offensive turnovers (at least of which was deep in their own territory and resulted in an easy field goal... also believe a couple of mcnowns ints have been returned to the house.... their offense does look better but i believe that if the raiders have a game with one or less turnovers their defense will suddenly look great as it did last year, hey lets be honest the raiders d got a lot of breaks last year with a fumble every other play from brooks it was a miracle they allowed as few points as they did

That prediction on my Raiders hurts DDD, they are WAY better than that, Im not predicting playoffs (where is Jim Mora Sr. when I need him...) but I think we can get at least 5, the D will solidify, and with Culpepper starting now, I hope, the O should get better.

Now S-Jax is out with a torn groin (owwww!)!? I'm starting to think that giving up my depth by moving LenDale White and Welker for Kevin Jones wasn't such a good move, especially since I wasn't quick enough to pick up Leonard. Damn, I need Kevin Jones to get healthy ASAP and Brandon Jacobs to stay hurt for a while so I can keep running Ward out there.

I think it's crazy how drastically different the first round would look if you drafted today; it's only been 3 weeks!

Yeah, I feared yesterday for the first time since his Second Coming that Gibbs has lost it. That finishing sequence was absurd. When you are screaming at the screen, agreeing with the hated Aikman that "there is no reason whatsoever to rush this snap!" (or something like that), you know it is bad. Maybe it's Saunders' fault, I don't know. Whoever it is should be ashamed.

Ya I'm really worried about the Buffalo offense. Don't go giving him away, he's definitely got value - just a guy to maybe shop after a real solid start to his career.

There would absolutely be an argument to take Addai No. 1. I was trying to separate reality from fantasy, but my knock in no way even really translates. He's absolutely a legitimate top-3 fantasy player and will continue to be so.

Romo! Romo! Romo!

You'd advocate moving Lynch? Is that just because of the Buffalo QB issues? I'm still trying to find a decent mid-range buy-low type back to try and grab.

I don't understand some of the spiking strategies; I even saw a spike on 3rd down at the end of one of the games.

I see your point about Addai...but at the same time, if drafts were held today, wouldn't there at least be an argument to be made for taking Addai #1? Can you ever imagine Addai putting up a stinker like some of the other "top" RB's have?

I benched Romo last night...but now I'm more of a believer than ever (and my team had wrapped up the 'W' anyway).
